Before starting his legal career, he ran a successful vacation rental business, but his passion for helping families protect what matters most led him to estate law. At WaveCrest Legal, Mike focuses on providing clear, compassionate guidance through every step of the estate planning process. He takes pride in helping clients feel confident and secure about the future. Outside the office, Mike enjoys practicing Jiu Jitsu, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Maria, and their two children, soaking up all the sunshine and adventure Florida has to offer.

Maria was born and raised in historic St. Augustine, Florida. Outside of the office, Maria is a devoted spouse and parent to two wonderful children, as well as three energetic dogs. An avid outdoors person, she enjoys spending time fishing, traveling, hunting, and making the most of the great outdoors.

As a military wife with a background in the nonprofit sector, she brings resilience, compassion, and a strong sense of service to her role as Practice Manager at WaveCrest Legal. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and is the proud parent of two grown children. Known for her organization and care, Michelle helps the firm run smoothly while supporting both clients and the team. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time by the water and embracing the coastal lifestyle.

Tia Rowe

Lead Paralegal

Tia is a Florida Registered Paralegal with over a decade of experience supporting clients and attorneys in estate planning, probate, trusts, and guardianships. She earned her Bachelor’s in Criminology, cum laude, from the University of Florida and holds a Master’s in Organizational Psychology. Known for her reliability, attention to detail, and dedication to exceptional client service, Tia ensures every matter is handled with care, precision, and thoughtful support. Outside work, she enjoys time with her husband and two children, loves Christmas, and recharging with a good book.

Carrie Lynch

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Carrie has deep roots in the local community. After years of teaching elementary school and raising five boys with her high school sweetheart, she made the leap into the legal field and hasn’t looked back. As an Estate Planning Paralegal at WaveCrest Legal, Carrie brings warmth, organization, and a strong commitment to client care. She thrives in the firm’s welcoming, beachside environment and is passionate about helping families navigate their planning with confidence and compassion.

Liza is a longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach. She is the proud mother of a college-age son who is studying political science and public administration at UNF. As the first point of contact at WaveCrest Legal, Liza enjoys making a personal connection with our clients. Every appointment is an opportunity to engage, communicate, and ensure that all interactions reflect the values and professionalism of our team. When she is not building relationships at WaveCrest Legal, Liza enjoys live music, cultivating an enviable vinyl collection, tending to a menagerie of critters and writing as the senior reporter at The Beaches Leader where she works tirelessly to tell the stories that connect us all.
